Focus Sentence("본 확장 프로그램")는 웹페이지에서 지금 읽고 있는 줄·문장에 집중할 수 있도록 돕는 읽기 보조 도구입니다. 본 확장 프로그램은 사용자의 어떠한 개인정보도 수집·저장·전송하지 않습니다.

2. 수집하는 정보

없습니다. 본 확장 프로그램은 다음을 일절 수행하지 않습니다.

개인 식별 정보(이름, 이메일, 계정 등) 수집
사용자가 방문한 웹페이지의 주소(URL)나 내용 수집·저장·전송
사용 기록(analytics), 추적(tracking), 광고 식별자 사용
외부 서버로의 데이터 전송

3. 로컬에 저장되는 설정값

본 확장 프로그램은 사용자가 지정한 설정값만 브라우저 내부 저장소(chrome.storage.local)에 저장합니다. 예: spotlight의 크기·위치·불투명도 프리셋, 문장 강조 색상, 배경색 맞춤 등의 토글 옵션. 이 값들은 사용자 본인의 브라우저 안에만 머무르며, 외부로 전송되지 않습니다. 확장 프로그램을 삭제하면 함께 제거됩니다.

4. 웹페이지 접근 권한

읽기 보조 기능은 사용자가 어떤 웹페이지에서든 동작해야 하므로, 모든 사이트에서 화면에 보조 오버레이를 그리기 위한 접근 권한을 사용합니다. 이 과정에서 페이지의 텍스트 위치를 화면상으로 읽어 spotlight를 배치하지만, 그 내용을 저장하거나 외부로 전송하지 않습니다.

5. 제3자 제공

본 확장 프로그램은 어떠한 제3자와도 데이터를 공유하지 않습니다(공유할 데이터 자체가 없습니다).

1. Overview

Focus Sentence ("the Extension") is a reading-aid tool that helps you focus on the line or sentence you are currently reading on a web page. The Extension does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data.

2. Information We Collect

None. The Extension does not:

Collect personally identifiable information (name, email, account, etc.)
Collect, store, or transmit the URLs or content of pages you visit
Use analytics, tracking, or advertising identifiers
Send any data to external servers

3. Locally Stored Settings

The Extension stores only your own settings in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) — for example, spotlight size/position/opacity presets, sentence highlight color, and toggle options such as background-color matching. These values remain only inside your own browser and are never transmitted anywhere. They are removed when you uninstall the Extension.

4. Web Page Access

Because the reading aid must work on any web page, the Extension uses access to all sites in order to draw its assistive overlay on screen. While doing so, it reads the on-screen position of text to place the spotlight, but it does not store or transmit that content.

The Extension does not share any data with third parties (there is no data to share).
